Scott Kyle
Hello, my name is Scott Kyle. I was born and raised in the Peterborough area. I graduated from Kawartha Lakes Bible School in 1983 where I met my wife Lucille. We have lived most of our married life in the L’Amable area where we raised our four children. I’ve worked full time at a local seniors home since 1996.

John Cook
I’m John Cook and have lived in this community for many years, engaging with people through construction and church life. My wife Ruthannah and I have two boys and are active at L’Amable in leadership and children’s ministries. We would love to welcome you to LBC!
Deacons

Robert Koster – Deacon Chair
I’ve been a part of L’Amable for many years, work in our community, and am happy to be a part of the Leadership Team at LBC. I’ve been married since 1988 to Teresa, have two adult children, and now some grandchildren!

Jerry Goodkey – Chapel Treasurer
I grew up in the Bancroft area, and then spent a number of years working in Northern Ontario. My wife Betty and I have four adult children and 12 grandchildren. We moved back to the area in 2004, and served at Graphite Bible Camp for over five years. We’ve been living back in L’Amable and attending L’Amable Chapel since then.

Deacon Ed Hoover
My name is Ed Hoover, and I’ve served at L’Amable for many years. Working in this area, and especially with the fire department has kept me connected with our community. My wife Elaine and I have three adult children, some lovely grandchildren, and many relatives in our area. We want to welcome you to L’Amable Bible Chapel.

Deacon Bruce Babb
My name is Bruce Babb and I was born and raised on the south shore of Rice Lake. I worked in Cobourg all my working years, but retired with my wife Carol to the Bancroft area in 2004, when we began attending L’Amable Bible Chapel. We’ve been married some 50 years and have two grown sons and three grandchildren.
